origins
Chalet Frieda originates long before us. The piece of land has belonged to our family for several years. With the subdivision and the passage of the vast area to the younger generation we started realising our dream might soon become true: we could build a wooden house by ourselves according to the newest ecological standards. The thought matured to the point we had the first projectes prepared. Several steps followed and major burocratic obstacles were overcome. Today we can finally share this little jewel with you.
We aimed at constructing more than a simple wooden hut filled with alpine charme. We were willing to build a house in compliance with the newest and strictest technological standards. It's amazing how invisible yet perceivable such comfort is.
